The UKC has a vision but, more importantly, it has a strategy that will help us achieve that vision. The vision is simple -
"To create a role-play environment, community and structure to accommodate all themes, aspirations and objectives for all players whilst establishing EVE’s ultimate UK corporation/alliance "
How are we going to achieve this? Good management, organisation, structure and communications. The UKC has adopted a ‘role-play’ scenario based on RL business and corporation development. The building blocks include; management structure and leadership, a charter, strategy, organisation, excellent communication mechanisms and – above all – a unified passion for the corporation. Whether you prefer production or mining, research or mission, PvP or hunting or even if you want to remain a freelancer, the UKC has created an environment and framework for you to achieve your goals and enjoy the full spectrum of EVE game-play.
So what is the UKC trying to achieve? Ultimately, the UKC wants to be the best all round member only corporation in EVE. The UKC understands that many of its members will want more responsibility, more game-play and want more access to the EVE features. Recognising this, the UKC infrastructure is fluid and encourages members to take initiatives, develop roles and take leadership responsibilities. ‘Sister' corporations (divisions) specialising in various streams based on the current state of the game allow the UKC to be diverse and offer a variety of game-play to all its members.

HAVE SOME FUN
Having goals and objectives is important in the context of measuring success. It also ensures that the membership have a very clear view of what the UKC is setting out to achieve and how they can become part of that success.
2005 was very successfull for the UKC, let us make 2006 even more so.
OBJECTIVES from 2005
Stage One Establish a core 'trusted' and active management team capable of taking the UKC along the journey. This is the team that will drive home the corporation strategy, culture and objectives in line with the CEO and be fully committed to the corporation cause. This team will form the rank 1, 2 and 3 management backbone and will be empowered to manage the UKC day-to-day issues, membership and core activities.
COMPLETED
Stage Two Establish profitable income streams to ensure that the corporation receives continuous funding and resources whilst developing a fluid set of divisions within the parent corporation. The divisions will specialise in different aspects of EVE game-play and be managed by rank 3 leaders. Ensure that the day-to-day running of the corporation is resilient and seamless and that the UKC culture is indoctrinated in to all new recruits. Learn to live and operate in a low security region without disruption and ensure the safety and protection of all UKC members. Establish an academy for new recruits with appropriate training and investment and embark on forming partnerships and trusted NAP's with similar minded corporations and/or alliances.
COMPLETED
Stage Three Establish a claim to a small piece of space either with or without an alliance and become a major influence in the EVE universe. Establish the UKC as a respected corporation/alliance with intelligence, wealth and strength in depth.
Whilst it is easy to dismiss the UKC vision as ‘over ambitious’ or unimaginative, the UKC believe that a corporation needs objectives and a strategy to achieve it – and we intend to see it through.
