Recruitment

The UKC is actively recruiting players across EVE Online and our recruitment policy is extremely aggressive. We have a dedicated CM team which conducts recruitment from initial contact and PR up to interviewing and inception into the corp. The CM team also carries on its role after your enrolment in the corporation which will include training and keeping members happy. There is a extensive application flow that has to be followed to the T as UKC only recruit the best and people who have the potential to become the best players in Eve. We look at each application on a case by case basis and our recruiters look at every aspect of the player, from fundamentals, security checks and potential. The UKC receive 2 to 3 enquiries/applications per day which takes up a major chunk of player time and resources.

The UKC are recruiting players with a minimum of 10mil SP and aptitude, however applicants are looked at on a case by case basis.  SP will not dictate a player joining or not, we would rather a 10mil SP player with the right attitude over a 45mil SP player with the wrong attitude. Upon joining UKC, you will be placed under a probationary period where you will have to prove yourself to us. As a rank 8 recruit you will be required to be active, join operations and activities as much as possible and report on the forums under the appropriate section. Your progress is monitored using a forum and game based system where you need to score x number of points to pass probation. The probation period is a minimum of 28 days from joining. If you don’t pass Probation, you won’t graduate, if you don’t graduate, you will be removed from the corp.

Throughout your Probationary period you will be monitored through a number of things. Attitude, activeness and participation mainly which will be recorded by the CM team and you may have a few private conversations with the CM team to see how you are doing and a final interview where you will be told how you have done, and so you can tell us which department you wish to join.

What we ask of you?

Other than respecting the UKC charter, we will run corporation operations daily, weekly and monthly which we require you to join as many as possible. There is a Corporation day which runs on a Sunday straight after DT where all the UKC members assist in events for PVP, PVE and Industrial.  There will be occasions where life issues hinder this and when these do, you must notify us via the forums or in-game to a Director/CEO where alternative arrangements will be made for you to contribute to the corporation moving forward.

Finally, it is worth noting that once you graduate the process does not stop, you will be monitored the entire course of your time within UKC. If players stop helping, become in-active or develop the wrong attitude you will be warned, if this continues, you will be asked to go back onto probation where you will go through the entire process again, which means, if you don’t pass, you leave.

The UKC is passionate about its reputation and will go to any lengths to protect it. Members seen to be hindering this will be removed. The UKC is not a “shits and giggles” outfit, only apply if you are a serious, mature team player
